Sneha Devanandan , a talented Professional classical dancer, teacher and choreographer She has been persuing Bharathanatyam for more than 20 years, initially under the guidance of Guru Sri Ashok Kumar and further continued under the renowned Guru Bharatha Sikkaram Mrs.Padmini Ramachandran in Vazhuvoor style. Sneha's timing of movement, precision and liveliness of her foot work in each of her recitals has made her a beautiful Bharathanatyam Artist. Recognisation has come in the form of achievements, awards, scholarships, prizes, titles for Sneha Devanandan apart from praise from critics and the Press. Sneha is an 'A' grade artist with the Doordarshan, India the national television net work and an Empanelled artist of the Indian council for cultural relations (ICCR). Yuva Prathibha awardee from Kannada and culture department, Govt of Karnataka, recipient of the Young achievers award from Rotary, Bangalore, Gold medal from Kalavedi - a cultural organisation, Visishta Prathibhaye Narthaki, a wonderful review from art critic, are some of the awards and recognisations that she received. Sneha has performed in many major dance festivals in India and also travelled extensively abroad in countries like Usa, Canada, Australia, Sri Lanka, Dubai etc and won alround appreciation from media and audience.

Kalaanidhi Nruthya Mandiram( dance school)

Sneha's desire to prmote this incredible and divine art form, encouraged her to set up Kalaanidhi Nruthya Mandiram in 2006. The idea behind this dance school was to provide art to the world for people to love and cherish. She has been training students and enabling them to relish the beauty of this art form by passing on the skill acquired over years of training from her gurus. Her students have excelled at various stages ,compititions, and examinations conducted by the govt of Karnataka.
